Sarah Kroenke

According to my seven year old son, this is how I spend my days. I help people who are dying and their families say I love you and good-bye to each other. He also explains that I help sad kids smile and be happy, by helping them remember the good memories of their person who died. His description sums up my purpose as a hospice social worker and school grief counselor.

Since 1995, I have had the honor of spending my days this way. Through my work of helping people cope with death, I have learned so much about life and the gift of the ordinary day. I have been inspired to live the best life I am capable of living and live it straight from my heart.

I live in Waconia, Minnesota with my husband Clay and our two beautiful boys, Max and Joe.
