Rick Kupchella

Rick Kupchella is a Minneapolis-based news anchor, a virtual Renaissance man and a loving husband and father. His inspiration for “Tell Me What We Did Today” came in the form of his two young daughters, Caroline and Elizabeth. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters traveling, taking photographs and writing. When he is not with his family, you can see him as the weekend anchor at KARE 11 in Minneapolis. An award-winning journalist, he’s been recognized repeatedly for excellence in broadcasting by the New York International Film Festival, the Chicago Regional Emmy Awards and the Gannett Corporation. Kupchella and his family currently reside in Golden Valley, Minnesota.
