Marilyn Brown
Marilyn Brown grew up in Edina, Minnesota, and has studied art at institutions around the globe. Starting at the Minneapolis College of Art (now known as MCAD) in her home state, she also received training at the Johannesburg, South Africa, Art Center and studied with Dimitar Krustev in Venice. A diverse artist, Marilyn uses pastels, watercolors, oils and pen and ink for her craft. Well-recognized, she created the “Seasons Bay Resorts” series for Department 56 and has been commissioned to paint portraits, murals, and even a vintage automobile. Marilyn currently resides in Chanhassen, Minnesota, with her husband.
